Help
The questions people ask about SnoreProof, answered in the order they usually come up.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-in and no email to hand over. SnoreProof starts working the moment you open it, and it keeps working with the phone in airplane mode.
Where is my data kept?
In this app's own database, on this device. It is not uploaded to us and there is no server copy — which also means that if you lose the phone without a backup, there is nothing for anyone, us included, to restore from.
What does the app send?
Anonymous usage counts, and nothing else. What leaves the phone is an event name from a fixed list plus a few numbers. Free text cannot get into the payload at all, so there is no path for your content to reach it. The counts are on by default and there is a switch in Settings that stops them completely.
Are there any third-party SDKs?
No. No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no trackers and no social logins. The statistics endpoint the anonymous counts go to is our own, and nothing about you is ever sold or shared.
How do I back things up?
Open Settings and turn on encrypted iCloud backup. It comes with Pro and stays off until you switch it on yourself. SnoreProof then writes an encrypted snapshot into your own iCloud Drive — your Apple Account's storage, not ours — and keeps the key in your iCloud Keychain, so nobody else can open the file, us included. Turn the switch back off and the snapshot is removed.
I have a new phone — does everything come with me?
Only if backup was on before. Sign in to the same Apple Account, install SnoreProof and tap Restore from backup. Nothing is restored on its own; it waits until you ask. Without a backup there is nothing to bring over, because the data existed only on the old phone.
What is free and what costs money?
The whole core loop is free forever, and so is browsing everything you have already made. There are no ads. Pro is optional and gives more room rather than more access: more in progress at once, the full content library, the Pro styles, the seasonal collectibles, encrypted iCloud backup, and the yearly poster and PDF book.
How do the three tiers work?
Weekly and yearly are subscriptions: they auto-renew until you cancel, and the yearly one starts with a free trial when your account is eligible. Lifetime is a single payment — it is not a subscription and never renews. Prices are shown in your own currency in the App Store and on the purchase screen.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on this device and turn off renewal for SnoreProof. It stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, and refunds are requested from Apple too.
I paid before, on another phone
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the purchase screen and tap Restore purchases. That brings back what you paid for, not what you made: your data travels with you only if you had turned iCloud backup on.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app — that removes everything it stored on the phone. There is no copy of your data elsewhere for us to delete, because one was never made. If you had switched iCloud backup on, turn it off first (or delete the file from iCloud Drive afterwards), since that snapshot sits in your storage rather than ours.
